They take your breath away. A never-ending story of change. My cold feet a reminder of the continuous flow of freshness. Repetitive, yet never old. Consistent , yet always changing. That is the magic of waterfalls to me. They signify the embodiment of a strong organization. A corporation with an ultimate business cycle.

Initially, water flows with a determined unidirectional strategy. Never turning back whatever the circumstances. Always looking forward, fearlessly embracing the future to own it. An establishment that knows its purpose and direction. Never gets stuck in an inertia vortex. Always self-enhancing. Every curve and turn, viewed as an opportunity to flow even faster.

Even with all the wild splashing, our corporation still gushes within the limits of a riverbank. A path forged by centuries of progressiveness. Never ‘conveniently’ changing vision, no matter how strong financial winds hammer the ecosystem around it. A rock solid path dictated by brand values, corporate governance, and an impeccable work culture.

Now comes the time for the plunge, that momentous instance just before the drop. That is the point where water is moving fastest. After all that massive buildup of credibility, speed, and readiness, the firm is taking its leap of faith. To face a crazy external disruption, only to be matched with an explosive internal release of accumulated kinetic energy. All the resource training, leadership insight, managerial decisions have come to this. To finally and suddenly fly out of that comfort zone. The business has never moved this fast before, but the whole team is holding together waiting for that fiery smash. A transformation of mindset from ordered structure to wild paroxysm. To just let go and take that risk, hoping that everyone in the organization will emerge stronger and more enlightened.

Then comes the much-awaited crash! It’s never a question of losing control. Rather, it’s a question of how fast you retroact to order amidst all the chaos. This is where the mantle of an establishment really shines. Strong businesses remain intact after the turmoil. Even after crashing they persevere with stable motion. It’s truly amazing how water beautifully stabilizes only meters away from the roaring crashing point. Not only that, after a momentous halt of victorious satisfaction, the water suddenly starts moving slowly again. Regaining speed with a healthy dose of optimism. Only this time, the establishment is exploring new territories. Flowing towards new challenges, new hope, and fetching new falls that will further enhance the brand’s vision and experience.

Here is to fresh starts after a waterfall crash!
